Caramel Macaroons dipped and drizzled with Dark Chocolate

Caramel Macaroons were on the dessert menu last night and I have to say that they did not disappoint! 

Preheat oven to 325

Ingredients:

One bag shredded coconut

2 tbs of Caramel Javamelts (can use any of our 4 gourmet flavors)

2 egg whites

Splash of vanilla

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

Dark chocolate about 1/4 cup

Sliced almonds 1/2 cup (adjust to taste)

How to make:

Whip egg whites with a splash of vanilla (approximately 1 tsp) on high until stiff peaks form

Fold in all other ingredients

Place dollops of the mixture on parchment paper

Bake 15-20 minutes until the outside and top of the cookies are golden

Cool

Melt, dip and drizzle dark chocolate over them and sprinkle Caramel Javamelts on top (you can do this in the reverse order)

Enjoy!


*if you feel that they are very sweet use a little less than the entire can of sweetened condensed milk
