In the Summer our bananas ripen so quickly so I’m constantly making different kinds of shakes and delicious desserts with them.  This recipe is a house favorite and I hope that you like and enjoy these too.  The question is, "what flavor do we make them?"

Ingredients:

3 large sized very ripened bananas

1/2 to 3/4 cup of Javamelts Hazelnut Flavored Sugar

2 eggs

2 tbs vanilla

2 cups of flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda mixed with one tbs of water

1/2 cup of butter (1 stick) softened

Chocolate chips any kind is fine: milk, dark or semi-sweet

Preparation - must be done in this exact order

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix bananas and flavored sugar and set aside

Beat eggs and set aside

Mix flour and baking powder and set aside

In a large mixing bowl blend banana mixture, butter and eggs

Add vanilla

Mix in baking soda mixture

Mix in flour mixture

Mix in chocolate chips

Pour into muffin pans and bake for approximately 18-20 minutes (until fork ready)

For an extra treat, when the muffins cool, dip them in more Javamelts Flavored Sugar for a beautiful, flavorful topping!

Enjoy!

**For a gluten free version you can swap out ordinary flour for gluten free flour and they are just as yummy!!!!
