Calling all donut lovers..... this recipe is over the top delicious and a must try!
Yields 12 donuts
Ingredients:
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 3/4 gluten free 1:1 flour
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
4 tbsp corn starch
6 tbsp water (for corn starch)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup almond milk (room temp)
2 tsp white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease donut pan with pastry brush and your choice of oil
In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa, four, baking soda, baking powder, salt and brown sugar until combined well.
In another bowl, mix together corn starch and water until smooth. Then whisk milk, vanilla and vinegar.
Combine all wet with the dry and add veggie oil. Mix very well.
Place batter in pastry bag and then fill the donut pan 3/4 of the way.
Bake for 15 minutes
Powdered sugar:
3/4 cup Caramel Javamelts
3/4 tbsp corn starch
Combine in blender until powder forms
Glaze:
Powdered Caramel sugar combined with about 1.5 tbsp of Milk. Mix until desired consistency is met.
Drizzle on top - top with Snickers and ENJOY!
