Anything with Bananas, my oldest daughter's boyfriend, Zak, loves. I found this amazing recipe and he loves it when I make it with Caramel or French Vanilla Javamelts but truth be told..... the best part of it is when we load it up at the end with Javamelts Flavored Sugar sprinkled heavily on top or when we make Javamelts Flavored Powdered Sugar and top it off!
Combined well in a mixer:
3 medium overripe bananas or 1 heaping cup when mashed
3/4 cup Javamelts flavor of choice: Hazelnut, Mocha, Caramel or French Vanilla- I used Caramel on this particular one
and 1/4 cup brown sugar or dark brown sugar
Then add each one step at a time and mix in between:
3 large eggs
1/2 cup butter softened
2 tbsp oil (optional)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Combined in a separate bowl:
2 cups cake flour or 2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Add in 3 parts, sift into wet ingredients that are mixed already - mix until all dry ingredients are well incorporated
Add: 3 tbsps milk -
Mix in just until it’s incorporated
Spray a Bundt Pan with cooking spray or butter it
Pour in mixture
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until fork ready
Let cool
Take out of cake pan
Sprinkle lots and lots of Caramel Javamelts or Javamelts Powdered Sugar on top and enjoy!
To make Javamelts Flavored Powdered Sugar:
3/4 C. Javamelts Flavored Sugar of choice
3 tsp. Cornstarch (combined with the hazelnut sugar to create the powdered sugar needed - pulse in a blender until powder forms)
Enjoy!!!!
