It’s Fall and this recipe hits the spot for me and my family for sure. What’s your favorite breakfast, sweet or savory? It’s hard to beat the smell of baked goods first thing in the morning.
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup of Javamelts French Vanilla Sugar
5 cups bread rolls, cut into 1” cubes
4 tbsp salted butter, melted
2 cups of blackberries
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 7x10 baking dish with nonstick spray. In a bowl mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and butter. Add the bread to the bowl and mix well. Pour half of the bread in the baking dish, spread blackberries on top and then pour the rest of the bread egg mixture on top. Bake for 40 mins or until golden brown. Let rest for 1hr. Follow the next step.
Ingredients blackberry sauce
1 1/2 cups blackberries
1/4 cup Javamelts French Vanilla Sugar
1/3 cup of water
Add all of the ingredients together in a small stock pot and place over medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes, add to a blender until smooth and drizzle over the french toast.
Enjoy!
