Breakfast just got better.... or maybe you would want these for dinner or even dessert. A true chocolate lover's dream........ and the chocolate sauce has a shot of espresso in it so who's ready to try this delicious recipe?
Ingredients:
1 1/2 C Flour of choice
1/2 cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
3 tbs of Mocha flavored sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 C milk of choice
1 tsp olive oil (optional)
Coconut oil or butter for your pan
Chocolate syrup:
1/2 C chocolate chips
1/2 C maple syrup
1 tsp espresso
1 - 2 tsp Mocha flavored sugar
Mix all pancake ingredients in a bowl using a whisk
Heat pan with coconut oil or butter and place batter in 2 inch circles
Let cook until you see bubbles, about 3-4 minutes and then flip.
Chocolate sauce: Melt all ingredients on low-medium heat.
Place on plate, drizzle with sauce and enjoy!!!!
