Calling all Chocolate and Coffee Lovers....... THESE are over the top delicious and if you don't want the coffee taste, not to worry, because our Mocha flavor is chocolate so just eliminate the coffee in the recipe and it's CHOCOLATE ONLY all the way!
Mocha🧁 frosting
1/2 cup (DF) butter
1.5 cups powdered sugar ***baking hack: (you can make your own flavored powdered sugar by using 1.5 c of Javamelts and 1.5 TBS of cornstarch in a blender until it becomes powdery)
2 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp (DF) milk
2 tbsp @javamelts mocha sugar
Whip butter for two minutes until fluffy. Slowly add powdered sugar and mix until combined. Next add cocoa, mocha sugar, vanilla and milk. Whip on high until desired texture is met.
1/3 cup @javamelts mocha sugar
1/3 cup regular sugar
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp espresso baking powder ****if you don't like coffee flavor, keep this out
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup and 2 tbsp GF 1:1 flour
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs (take out 10 min prior)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup boiling water to activate cocoa
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place all dry ingredients in mixer, then add in wet ingredients one by one. Mix on medium for about 3-4 minutes until smooth and blended. Bake for 12-15 minutes depending on your oven. Toothpick will come out clean when they are done. Be sure to let cool in pan for 10 minutes then transfer on to a wire rack. Let cool for 30-45 minutes before icing.
