Javamelts Fig Jam
Who doesn't love a good jam recipe? Well, this Fig Jam is definitely one of our favorites. I have a Fig Tree in my yard so we always have many to eat and enjoy! Give this is a try and let us know how you like it!
5 cups fresh figs or berries of choice
1/2 cup Javamelts Flavored Sugar of Choice
2 Tbs fresh squeezed lemon juice
pinch of salt
Cut berries into large chunks
Combine fruit, Javamelts Flavored Sugar, lemon and salt in saucepan over medium heat and mash the fruit with large fork until texture is chunky.
Bring to a light boil, stirring frequently. Continue boiling until fruit is jam-like and thick for about 20 minutes.
Turn off heat and carefully transfer jam into glass jars. Cool to room temperature. Seal with a lid. Serve with cheese, crackers, muffins or toast. Enjoy!
