Anything with a cream cheese frosting has me enticed for sure. Trust us, this recipe will be a crowd favorite!
Ingredients for Cake
2 1/4 cups 1.1 GF Flour
4 large eggs
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup Caramel Flavored Sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
15oz pumpkin puree
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp kosher salt
3 tsp pumpkin seasoning
1/4 cup milk, I used a oat milk
2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2-8” cake pans with nonstick baking spray. In a bowl add all of the wet ingredients and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and chocolate chips, mix until just incorporated. Pour into the cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
Ingredients Frosting
16oz cream cheese
3 cups powdered sugar (you can use 1 cup of Caramel Flavored Sugar to enhance the caramel flavor in the cake)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until smooth and top the cooled cake.
**If you freeze the cake, it's easier to frost
