Spring is just around the corner so we are getting ready for some baking fun with the family and being able to display special ocassion and holiday dessert table favorites!
For the cupcakes, simply make your favorite white cake recipe, and substitute with French Vanilla Javamelts. You can even use your favorite white or vanilla boxed cake mix.
For the Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
¾ cup shortening
¾ cup powdered sugar
⅓ cup French Vanilla Javamelts
Small milk chocolate egg candies
Place all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Turn mixer on low, and whisk until combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, and turn the mixer up to high. Whisk for 3-4 minutes, or until the icing is light and fluffy.
Place frosting into a piping bag fitted with a fluted piping tip. Frost a large ring around the outside of the cupcakes. In the center, place 3-4 small milk chocolate eggs in center, creating a “bird’s nest” effect. ENJOY!
