Bread Pudding with Javamelts Flavored Sugar as the secret ingredient!
Who doesn't love a delicious bread pudding? This recipe is a must try and you can make any flavor you want and can even mix flavors to create your own!!!! Don't worry, we won't share that you use Javamelts Flavored Sugar as you secret ingredient!
2 cups of milk of choice
2 tbs unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup of Javamelts Flavored Sugar of choice
pinch of salt
1/2 loaf sweet egg bread (challah/brioche)
**put aside: 1/2 tsp cinnamon mixed with 1 tbs of Javamelts of choice (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a small saucepan over low heat warm milk, butter, vanilla Javamelts of choice and salt. Just warm until the butter melts and let cool.
Cut bread into 2 inch cubes. Butter 4-6 cup baking dish and fill it with the cubed bread.
Add eggs to cooled milk mixture and whisk. Pour over bread and bake for 30-45 mins until the edges of the bread have browned.
**as an added treat, we like to add raisins and sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon and more Javamelts sugar.
